How does the water restoration process work?

• Our team will come out to your property to assess the situation by checking the walls, ceilings and flooring for any possible saturation.

• After the damage assessment, we will explain the affected areas we found and discuss what is required to properly remediate the area. We will provide you with a free estimate and a breakdown of the services needed.

• Once the job begins, we will remove the water build up, if necessary, with specialized vacuums and water pumps.

• After the excess water is removed, any damaged materials that can’t be remediated will be removed and disposed of. This includes things like drywall, flooring, etc. and depends on the severity of the water damage.

• Next, the dry out process begins. Utility fans are placed to dry and dehumidify the affected areas so that all moisture is removed. This process usually takes a few days but can take longer depending on the area affected and how much water accumulation there was.

• We recommend that all personal items such as clothing, bedding, draperies, and fabric covered furniture be cleaned and sanitized during this process as well to discourage bacteria and mold growth. Many items may not be salvageable, depending on the source of the water intrusion, the amount of water and the amount of time that the water was there before being extracted or dried out.
